Should it be "this instant" instead of "this instance"? Or am I just being stupid? >.>

I would like to know if there are any support groups for parents/relatives of self-harmers. Reading about it is all very well and getting the self-harmer to seek help is good too but it would be good to talk to other parents/relatives/friends so that experiences are shared and you feel that you are not alone in dealing with it. If anyone knows of any groups, please could you let me know. Thanks..

It's really hard to keep track of real-life support groups. The ones we've seen or heard about tend to end / stop after a while.

We hope that our Message Board community right here is a great source of support!

We also make the following advice, for people thinking of setting up a support group: http://professionals.firstsigns.org.uk/ ... ort-groups
