I’m looking at the first aid section of your site and wonder if you might include something on there other than cutting and burning?

Having successfully concussed myself on several occasions I thought it might be worth having something there for people who hit their heads by one means or another, or even hit other parts of their body with enough intensity to cause internal bleeding or broken bones. Understandably blood loss and burns are very serious issues but head injury is also potentially fatal and not everyone would necessarily know that they had hurt themselves badly enough to require urgent medical attention.

just a thought

It's certainly something we shall have to address, we shall have to think about how best to talk about such things, thank you.

This info has been very helpful. I wonder if you could add some basic emergency numbers. I know we´re spread all over the world, but at least some of the most imoportant or where most people who use the forum, etc are from. Thanks Wedge.

the 'Helplines' page is within the same section as the First Aid page, and I'll be sure to add the NHS Direct, sure thing.
