Someone always told me that your problems are as big as the next persons..whether they are big or small they still matter! Yours are as big as mine or as small as any one elses...they are still something you deal with...I hope we can help in any way you want us to?!?! big hugs and much love xxx

HALT

Postby loobysaint on Thu 08 Nov, 2007 1:43 pm

I feel all those things right now. but there's something that's stopping me from getting something to eat or have a sleep. I worry that I don;t want to stop this.

My counsellor mentioned HALT a couple of weeks ago.

Its useful, just very hard to put into practice at school. I can't eat in lessons, I'm not allowed to "distract" myself, I can't sleep or rest at all...

I like HALT. :-)
And I long for you to appear, after losing your way across star-riddled skies to carry you home.
I cherish my loss, a gentle reminder that life is unkind at the best of times.
((Enter Shikari))

Paper doll silhouettes and fingertips on windowglass, the streets asleep so I breathe you in deep... you're the reason I come home.
((Ron Pope))

Don't let your mind get weary and confused, your will be still, don't try.
Don't let your heart get heavy child, inside you there's a strength that lies.
Don't let your soul get lonely child, its only time it will go by.

Ive just read this artical and its confirmed something ive been thinking,
when i dont eat my SI and depression takes over, I feel worse and very low.
My problem is that to feel control I dont eat at times, this then kicks off the low feelings and goes around in a circle.
